Trillion, par-3, premium 3way and I believe target are all basically the same thing. Estaprop, dicamba and a phenoxy (don't recall which one). They all work great with high water volumes for "crop safety". I use trillion because it's the cheapest but I also use rinsate from my sprayer if I spray a broadleaf only and rinse at home. I have a 6 acre patch of "lawn" out back and will spray the rinsate out there. I also have a jug of Grazon that I use but not near my trees.

Did Lontrel because we had dandelions and thistles. Worked really well. The problem is I'm left with $450 worth of Lontrel now

That sh*ts expensive but it works. Bought a 10 litre jug to spray 4 acres of rented land that the owner had brushed. He brushed trees then I stumped them Rototilled then seeded canola. The thistles and dandelions were crazy thick. Canola germ was good and waited until the thistle and dandelion leaves were large then hit it with Lontrel. Rate was who knows as I used a quad sprayer and did the glug glug rate. Not a broadleaf 3 years later so far.

I have used tordon22k, big brother to grazon less the 24d. Works great, but have to watch for trees flower beds etc pretty carefully. The picloram part is highly water soluble and likes to move. Particularly bad in sandy soils.

Has anyone used grazon?
Yes.

No matter what you use don’t let mother’s flower garden get even the slightest whiff.
Probably another good reason to hit it late fall.

Last time I did the lawn my popularity in the house hit an all time low. Those flowers are wimps!

Need 10 to 12 g/ac for ally/escort and its works ok. I used to use escort on certatin lease site for tansy control. Thistle and dandelion take a beating but is not good for long term control. Maybe with a healthy lawn it would have better results.

I put 7g/ha of Ally down with Dyvel and it's put a real hurting down on the dandelions on my wheat but I think they need another shot to really finish them off.
