Conventional Auger Hoppers

I have seen the batco auger hopper that attaches on and has a canvass that pulls up to the bottom of the hopper bin hole. Anyone have one of these? Are they any good? Anyone have a different brand of the same concept? We are picking up our new meridian 10 inch auger soon, and want one of these. We have so many different sizes of bins that it's a pain to have a separate hopper for every type of bin.

They work awesome. Only downside is they are extremely heavy, but mine never comes off. They will fit under low clearance bins. I'll have to go measure a hopper bin and get back to you. I'm also trying to figure out a way to leave it on while transporting down the road.
Thanks! I appreciate that. How much of a procedure is it to take off? What brand is it and since you live in NE, where did you get it?

Gatco auger hog. Purchased it at the show in regina from the manufacturer. I finally broke down and bought one this year after getting over the sticker shock.
It's not that difficult to remove from the auger. Just pull a pin and release a ratchet strap. The difficult part is the weight of the hopper, it's built like a brick **** house.
Neighbours have one made by Hoffart services I think. He sells meridian augers in south sask. Anyways it’s a bit nicer then our augerhog hitch stays on, cleans out really good and fits under a fairly low hopper
There is one called The Hopper that I plan on buying. It's not heavy, about 45 lbs, and it can stay attached to the auger when you have to tow it and has a clean out door on the bottom, comes in stainless or painted! I think it was priced around $750 Vehicle Automotive exterior Dinghy Bumper Jon boat

I have that hopper, works okay. I'm always losing the stand as a bunch of our bins it has to sit on the ground and the stand gets misplaced. It should also have a square receiver hitch instead of the round jack reciever on the back, that way you could put in any hitch laying around. I had to manufacture my own hitch for transport.
