I have a 3408 corn head on a 7230 combine. I am planting with a 12 row planter. Other than the headlands I don't have much of a problem cutting. But the problem I have is with the poly row dividers. Our ground is hilly and not smooth. We have lots of terraces. I have the feeder house plate tilted all the way back (more level), but I keep having the snouts caught by the ground. Its like they stick out too far and point down too much. When they catch it makes a heck of a mess.
Are there any heads that do better with terrain like mine?
Any aftermarket dividers that would do better?
Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.
Thanks!
