Hello all i have a quick question to all i have been looking over a 2005 cr 960 an on the motor it has stamp max hp off 355 but i always thought that the cr960 were 330 i knew that they made the cr970 more hp too 400 but wa unsure off the 960 is there more power in the 960 in the later models an help would be great

I have the brochures from 2003 and 2005. The 2003 brochure lists the 920 as 255 hp, 940 as 295 hp, 960 as 330 hp, and 970 as 370 hp. The 2005 brochure list the 940 as 295 hp, 960 as 330 hp, and 970 as 400 hp. My next brochure is 2007 but that is for the 9000 series.

thank blunier thats what i thought was there any diference between 2003 an the 05 model at all

The horse power for a CR960 is 330 at 2100 rpm. The max horse power would be with the power boost + power rise. Which would be 355 horse power for the CR960.

In comparison, currently the CR9060 has 360 horse power. With a 25 hp power boost plus a 30 hp power rise for a max horse power of 415.
