I have a 925F header on a 7720II (18x38 duals on front and 16x24 on rear) and am not satisfied with the job it does at 2.5-3 mph. What is the recommended shaft speed? Seem to leave too many pods uncut. Sections are sharp and ledger plates good. Any tips to get a closer cut? Would taller tires on the rear help? tia

Actually, taller tires in the rear will make the problem worse. (Simple physics) Try it with a toy combine. You'll see what I mean. You could drop the rear to get a lower cut, or raise the front but larger front front tires is probably not cost-effective. It's also not advised to speed up the header either. The knife drive supports cannot take the vibration and will soon fail.
