Anyone got any suggestions on lower/Raise rates and threshold pressure. As well as sensitivity? The CX8080 combine I have usually lowers fast but at times goes too fast then goes into a very slow mode. As well the header doesn't contour the ground as well as I think it should.

I'm presuming you did a proper "header calibration"? Everything else set up correctly?

in your screen, you can change the lower / raise sensitivity. head 1 or 2 menu I guess...

If the lower rate is too fast, then the pickup/header will bounce and "trip" the height sensor. Then it will slowly continue to ground. It can be worse in a rough field because the pickup/header will bounce more easily.

I had the same problem, then slowed the lower rate, and now all is good.
