The plastic ends/ covers on the d60 will the ones off the d65 fit?

The D65 units have a different latching setup, so if they fit at all, it would mean also adding the mounting brackets from the D65. The D65 covers are not as handy to open, the change I was told was made because the D60 covers sometimes came open when they were not supposed to. Also, I believe the change was made to save weight and money.
