I have found a deep tooth sieve, (bottom) for my 8820. I will be running in corn/soybeans. Will this work? It looks just like the top one. The current bottom sieve has very short teeth, and will close completely. The new one will let a lot of material through even when closed.

PS I am looking for a good used chaffer (top), early 8820.

Thanks

We have an '87 Titan 2 that we switch lower sieves out for different crops. We used to use a long tooth sieve for beans, wheat, and corn. The sample for the small grains was always dirty. So we bought a short tooth sieve and now we just use the long tooth sieve for corn. The shorter tooth sieve made the sample for the wheat and beans a whole lot cleaner. I would use the long tooth for corn and the short one for beans.
