Trying to find out as much information as I can about the dense pack. Do you have to add all the elements or just a few to help with threshing& separation. Will it still be balanced or does the hard thresh set up offer any advantages in sample & capacity. Dealer seams a bit short on Knowledge.Appreciate any feedback thanks.

Three at a time to keep it balanced. Usually they are only on rice machines, but have herd of using them in tough wheat. In dry conditions I'd take them out though.

We hade a 680 out on demo witch has the variable stream rotor and all the dense pack tines in we removed them to see the differance in straw quality because we bail most of our straw but soon put them back in the difference in capacity was quite noticeable mainly rotor losses the wheat was yielding over 12 tonnes /ha and we were feeding a lot of damp straw through the machine anyway modern high density bailers make better bales if the straw is chewed up.
