Anyone ever done this? Ours has some greener spots seems like they are taking longer than I would like to fully turn. First time growing yellow mustard.
Talk to the guys you plan on selling it to before you spray it.
More buyers do not want glyphosate and some do not want anything after pod formation.
I have used generic Diquat with Falcon/Li-700 surfactant with great results on mustard.
Yeah, glyphosate on yellow mustard not accepted at most places. Whether they test for it is the gamble. I sprayed some low areas with heavy sow thistle one year. Wasn't much mustard there so not a big deal in the big picture. I doubt you would spray the whole field if it is only a few patches that are concern. I usually wait for a frost to do the job. Or swath. For me, yellow mustard can be blooming in low areas right up to a frost and so harvest plans keep that in mind.
