i have unhooked the wire to the seat, but that didn't work, do you have to jump the wire or something?
someone out there must have done this to check the moisture or piss on the go?

You have to make a dummy plug. You can use this as a quick fix, but you will have to remove the dummy plug or else it will cause a service code after so many hours, I believe it is four hours. It brings up a "inoperative safety switch" code. What I did was I wired in a switch in between the seat wire and the harness connector, now I can flip the switch on and get out to oil chains, when I sit back down I turn the switch off and the seat switch works like it should.

easy fix-----first unplug the sensor, then scrape the insulation from the wires on the combine side of the harness and twist them together. whenever you have a moron on the machine that you want it to work properly with, simply untwist it and plug it back in.
