I was looking at a 50 ft flexicoil 200 cultivtor to work the low spots. I can not seem to find any info on them. The owner said it was medium duty and 10 inch spacing. Were these a good cultivator for trash clearance, following the ground, and durability? Has anyone ever owned one of these units? Are the trips strong enough to stay in the ground? Thanks SouthernSK

I have one, bought it in the early 90 s slightly used and have used it every spring since ahead of the seeder with no problems at all, just replace worn shovels. It has fair trash clearance and has been very durable.Pretty sure they were designed by friggstad, which i believe was bought out by flex-coil

Rwt is yours 10 inch spacing and if so do you think it has poorer trash clearance than the 12 inch spacing? Is yours a medium duty with the 7/8 or 3/4 inch thick shanks and are the trips strong enough to work in hard ground? This one does not have any guage wheels in front apart from the tandemn wheels under the machine - is this the way yours is set up or I was wondering if the guage wheels were removed from this machine? Do you know if any parts are available for these machines? Thanks for your help.

mine is 10" spacing,I use 12" shovels on it,trash clearance is not quite as good as my chiselplow. Not sure how thick the shanks are, but i would guess at least 7/8". Trips are pretty strong and it work well on the small amount of hard land we farm. Just has the tandem wheels under it,I don't think it was ever available with gauge wheels because of the rigid hitch, the land we farm is fairly flat so once it was set up it has worked quite well.I have never needed any parts for it,just rebuilt the lift cylinder and I got a kit from a hydraulic shop
