When I went to the Claas new operator school thingy, they said that the DPF shouldn't cause any issues for the first 5000 hours, just let it do its thing. We had an EGR sensor fail on ours (2014 660) which stopped us for a few hours.

Claas are very good at fixing problems, get them to sort it out.

Had 0 issues with the burner last harvest. Was very impressed how it performed on the tier 4 engine , compared to the tier 3. On the 2012 model it would do muliple burns a day, 3 to 5 depending on run time, now it only does one burn, and that is right at start up. After 5 mins of idling the light goes on in the steering column, does its burn before the machine gets crop running through it, I like that compared to the old way. The needle on the cebis never moves, if it does climb ever than there is a problem with the system.

I thought I had a problem because after 40 hrs the needle was still on 0 and I was use to how the tier 3 ran, but after talking to the right people, that is how its is programmed to work.

Well they keep saying make it work get it nice and hot but why then doesn't it move till I stop for about 10 to 15 minutes and let it idle then the percent on the monitor starts to drop its like it needs to be cool instead of hot ????

We run two 2012 750tt. One hasn't had any issues and the other has had problems for the past three years. It'll run great for a couple of days and then it'll miss a regen. It'll climb past 100% and you have to stop and manually regen through the cebis. They have changed the software and spark plugs on the burner. Our dealer is at a loss of what to do next to fix it. Sounds like it could be the same problem?

We harvest mainly wheat as well. I'm not sure what to tell ya other than we have had the same problem. They also changed dust covers on some of the electronics, and that didn't fix it either. Not really sure how to go about trying to solve the problem since our dealer isn't sure either.

Yeah we can. You can do it even when it's not past 100% It takes about 20-30 minutes. You have to wait until it goes all the way down and the regen kicks off or it will miss again. You can go into the cebis and change it from automatic to manual regen. Somewhere under the combine menu along the top, I would have to play around with it to figure it out again.

Go to the engine category on the CEBIS, just left of the combine. Once you open it, scroll over to the far left. At the very bottom of that, it says regenerration. Go to that and open it up. Turn it from auto to manual. Once you have done that, you are able to make it turn the regen system on. That's how it is on ours anyways. The software may be different on ours compared to yours.

I don't know if you are still having problems but we just got a 2013 Claas 750 this year.

The regen started acting up the same as yours.

We thought maybe the air filters being dirty were causing the problem.

I talked with our dealer and they called Claas and Claas said it would not impact the regen.

Well we have found that it does.

Any time we go longer than two days not cleaning the air filters we have trouble. It will do a partial regen and then stop, then go into the red on the gauge and then we would clean the air filters and do the 30 minute regen at idle.

Now we blow out the air filters every day, and it has not missed again.

I don't think it is just coincidence.

Hopefully this helps.

It really is frustrating sitting there, saving the planet, one - 30 minute - diesel burning regen at a time.

Mick, I don't know if you are still having trouble with regen issues, we found that the hardhead needed to be replaced on our machine. It has to be replaced by Cat and not Claas though, so it is kind of a pain to get taken care of.
