STX450 Quadtrac. We are getting lots of dust in the cab. Everything seems to be sealed up tight. Filter housing lid under the cab doesn't seal up very good but it should still pull the air through the filter. The filter fits on tight. Even the filter doesn't get very dirty.
It worked beside an older 9480 Ford and that cab stays nice and clean but we had to clean the cab filter lots.

We are at a loss. Any ideas what to check? I hate dust!

I am not familiar with those tractors, but would think you must have a leak between filter and fan where it is drawing in unfiltered air. If not that, is it stuck in recirculation mode and not bringing in fresh air to keep the cab pressurized.

There is a lot of airflow on the floor of those tractors that comes from under the steering console. If you don't keep it brushed clean the fines that form under your feet just end up as dust in the cab.

The Ford's climate control is all overhead.

Thanks for that. We do try to keep the floor clean and we have carpets in both machines. You only notice the dust when going with the wind and traveling in the cloud of dust. You can breath it in and taste it. It seems it is being sucked in from outside.
I really like this machine. Endless power, big cab. It seems that it should stay clean but it sure doesn't.
