Just wondering if anyone has any experience with putting a dynaflex on R series without lateral tilt? Bought a 35' and going to put it on a 06 R65 but seem to have a issue with feeder chain touching the center auger, front chain is brand new and still has offset links in it but there isn't enough travel to shorten it yet. Does the lateral tilt have to be used just to create enough room for the feed chain? The operating and service manuals make no reference to needing tilt.

I think you can move the front drum further back, on the arms on either side of the drum there should be different bolt holes to move drum back further in the throat. I am not sure about not having lateral tilt but it is so much nicer to have it, the 9250 should still work flexing up and down though.

Isnt the opening to hook onto the dynaflex too large for a non lateral tilt machine? I had to remove the lateral tilt on my 65 to hook up to a 5100 draper. The lateral tilt is around 6" wider and probably 6" taller. Having both a non lateral tilt and a lateral tilt machine side by side there is a substancial difference between the feerderhouses when it comes to dimensions.

The high mounts must make up the height difference, the width is taken up with filler panels. Does the lateral tilt change the angle the header hangs at? I think I might have to put on taller tires, even with the tilt all the way out the skids on the ends don't sit level with the ground and there is no way to adjust them. Header is going to leave a streak at each end that won't cut close.
