anybody have this transmission in a 6000 or 7000 tractor. we are looking a buying a new tractor and wonder how they are working? or should we just stay with the IVT.

You can't get the E23 in a 6R, its 7R and 8R only. The 6R has Direct Drive which is somewhat similar to the E23 in that it is a manual transmission.

When you run the e-23 they are not near as smooth as the regular power shift they sort of stall for a second then take off not a big fan yet after using the ivt in a 8 but then im pulling 50,000 pounds with it to but even when not under a load it almost stalled the other day in the road when it was empty it wanted to start in e2 from a dead stop

I didn't think the e23 was a dual clutch setup.

The e23 is not direct drive it is just a 23 speed power shift
The direct drive transmission is 8 speed twin clutch with 3 ranges supposed to be
Very efficient

Might be efficient but I didn't find it particularly smooth.
