Long story short, my operator" hooked up the battery the wrong way!! Tried to start it, it wouldn't. Turned on the lights, they all worked!
Figured it out. Installed correctly, off we go.
An hr of operation later we get low voltage codes and only producing about 11.8 to 12.2 volts. New alternators, fan belts, fuses. No solution.
With the engine running I disconnected the earth lead from the battery to the chassis and then reconnected. Alternator excites and goes straight to 13.4. WTF???
Do it first thing in the morning she'll go all day. Never herd anything like it.
