Good luck and you will need it. When our Mercedes motor on our claas 900 let go we looked into getting it rebuilt . Total price for complete overhaul was 62000 canadian. Brand new was 72000 and there were none in the US and they had to ship it from Germany.

Any one else get gas instead of Deasel from Pemana coop on the 30 - 31 of October
I thought it was a worker that put in the wrong fuel but since it was a fuel delivery **** up i would be talking lawyers and stuff. Really that fuel supplier should be 100% liable and cover all costs for your new donk. Whether its out of their pocket or their insurance companies, someone else other than you needs to cough up the $$$$$$.

Won't they pay for new pistons, sleeves, bearings, valves, injector tips and perhaps turbo seals, all installed? If so, I think that might be all that you need. It is possible some of your injection pumps were hurt also, but you likely have to get the the engines mechanically fixed to prove it, if they won't pay for pump inspections.

You need to come at them with the logic that new is $90 000 plus labour not a $60 000 overhaul. What I'm talking about above is little if any betterment from the good running engines that you owned.

I agree with Hatstack on this, get a better lawyer and make them pay. Insurance companies are famous for this nonsense, trying to save themselves some cash. The bottom line is, you had a usable piece of equipment before the screw-up and you should have one after at no expense to you. If you have other equipment that is affected it becomes more important to set precedence. You should have your lawyer push like **** to get this settled fast, throw replacement equipment rental costs at them.

We were lucky our insurance adjuster didn't know much about choppers. They just called a couple dealers got some numbers and said fix it. If the fuel supplier dropped the wrong product I would think you should be able to get them to pay. Good luck
