Has anyone compared extended wear parts to standard parts for component life? Most extend wear sheet metal parts (elevator boots, ect.) are about twice the cost of standard parts. If they lasted twice as long, it would be worth the investment in labor and downtime savings.
I am also interested in ways to extend the Clean Grain Trough life. There is a very high wear area on the right side transition area to the elevator. Would a short (10") patch work better inside of the trough or outside? Any other fixes for this problem area?
Thanks
