stabilize the skid shoe by welding a Z bar or a couple of angle pieces under the box running from left to right. The box is leaning over and snapping it. Later heads from Gleaner are BEEFED . You can weld yours as there is plenty of room.
f-3 sch knifeheads breaking off
Anybody have trouble braking the knifeheads completely off. We have broken 3 in 3 years. When we turn the belt manually the sickle runs smooth. might get a good welder to try to bulk up the 2 welds on the knife head
