You know it's going to be a wet harvest when instead of grasshoppers in the grain sample, you see frogs.

I've had 1/3 of my sieve plug up with green tree frogs while cutting rice. Let me tell you climbing up in there and digging out dried frogs with a screwdriver smells nice.

At least the frogs don't show in green peas.

You usually can pick up canola swaths backwards, but the first cattail patch will be the end of that plan.

The most interesting truck box find was a Smooth Green Snake, intact and healthy. It was a little fellow, about a foot long and a bit smaller around than a wooden pencil. It had big eyes and I think I'd have big eyes if I'd just survived a trip though a 9770.
