I see that there is no Odyssey/Poast tank mix listed for faba beans, even though each alone are fine.

Anyone ever use this mix, or is it a complete no-no?

I have some cereals getting close to out of staging for the Odyssey to get.

Should I just do a split app.? If so, which herby first?

We've used Odyssey DLX and no problem.

We used Odyssey DLX before too but it can be hard on them if they are too big (ours the first year were a good 10-14" high by the time we were able to spray them). It impacted yield by 40-50%. Not sure about Odyssey Poast but its what our input supplier was suggesting, I know lots of people use Viper ADV even though it isn't registered the individual components on their own are I believe. Viper ADV from what I've seen is much easier on the faba's.


I would not hesitate to spray in 1 pass Odyssey/Poast but I'd also add a couple litres of Alpine G22 to help the faba's out as they process the chemical. Good luck.

I plan to spray Odyssey Ultra on mine. Apparently it is labeled for Faba's now.

Used the phantom at the 160 ac rate and full assure.. Great job and sprayed three weeks back.. Seen a few flowers on the fabs yesterday
