Next spring will be our third year growing Faba beans. So far happy with them. Nice to get back to a 4 year rotation. Wondering if anyone has ever seeded them after flax or could see any reason why they wouldn't work? The flax straw was baled and the fields are typically drier earlier in the spring where the flax has been than many other fields allowing us to get onto them sooner. No chemicals were used that should have any residue issues. It's kind of long shot question I guess. Not many in our area growing either of these crops.

As long as you can be 100% sure you can 100% control volunteer flax. Nothing spoils a good harvest day worse than that unwanted guest.
