We are in our first season and first crop with our new, to us, 750. Picking up proso millet swaths the dust is so bad at times that I can’t even see the windrows. Are the feederhouse fans a bit weak on these machines or do I have a problem I need to address?

Normally, the only time I have a problem on my 740, its because its stopped up at the top of the feeder house. A somewhat cure is to put a small spacer under the cover so the fan draws outside air also.

It is a poor design. The fan is rather effective until the intake becomes plugged under the shield. A spacer under the shield bolt might help, depending on your conditions.

Yeah wow the new one looks awesome. If someone (Seedcleaner) came up with retrofit kits you couldn’t build them fast enough.

Oh how I wish we had that dust problem. We have harvested 250 acres total so far this year with our two 760s. Right now everything is under snow.
