not sure on version number off hand, new one installed by dealer last Sept. but each version seams to get worse, we ran fieldstar 1 since 1999 till 2007, now one year with gta 2. honestly the first several years were better until they installed the new impact sensor on the 62. I think they need to look at a different way to measure grain flow, always get asked if debris under sensor or if clearance is right and always is. The way of meassuring zero point also needs a closer look

Current software for combines is 1.6.2, could be 1.6.5 for latest software to include planters, should not make a difference. What problems are you having with it, many things can contribute to the problems you are having, does it have the right "target". I have had a couple R-series combines come in with the A-series target and there is not enough room on the sides because the A-series "target" is wider, does it have the grain recovery kit on it and if it does I have had to add an additional resevoir to keep it from backing up and filling the space between the load bar and the "scoop" when the bin is kept full for long periods of time. Also the strip that goes across the top of the "target" to prevent the cover from being pushed down has been removed and more supports have been added to the outside to prevent the cover from being pushed down. hope this helps let me know if you need anything else.

most of the problem is we read low in higher yields and high in lower yields, we can be 10% low and 10% high on loads out of same field, I'm sure it does not have A series sensor as there is 3/8" gap clear around sensor, the space above and behind does fill with dirt at times but it has a clean out cut out in the bottom to the bin. we have checked area when clean with same problems, not sure what grain recovery kit is. The strip on top off load bar, not sure if it is on, this could make some sense with grain setting up there, most of the time grain never comes off inspection plate. I feel that with elevator full that not all the grain contact sensor, and with elevator half full all grain hits sensor at a harder rate than it should be
