Aren't most flax varieties protected by plant breeders rights?

If you find bin run, test it for Triffid first. You don't want to seed it, harvest it, and then find out it has Triffid in it!

haven't heard on anybody sitting on old flax with triffid.

Is it not still mandatory to have a clean test to sell it at the elevator?

Why not make sure you are starting off clean? No point multiplying out a couple hundred bushels of it......

I never got asked for 1 last fall. I did make mention that I bought certified seed & offered to bring in the tag to prove it if they wanted.
