What would be involved in putting a new flex draper on a 1998 R62 that has lateral tilt? The single point hookup is easy. I think I could put a valve on the lateral tilt to switch back and forth for the header tilt. I would think that I could put potentiameters to match my combine to run the lateral tilt if they are different. That leaves the hydraulic pressure to the sensor arms as the main problem it seems to me.

That's to bad Wheaty75. So your saying the header has is own control module similar to what was spread out threwout the axials last year. Good they have it so CAN circuit on '03 and newer machines will talk to it. I suppose it would be quite a job for rburk to untangle things to hook to earlier systems. Any idea what major snag would be if he could untangle electrical and hydralics? Is the hydralic ground pressure auto controled with dial in cab?

NDDAN, the potentiometers that run across the back of the head (if I recall on a 35" there are 6 or nime to a side) all use the can system. The head tilt is tied into the hydro handle and to swith between flex and ridgid is also done on the can system
