Has anyone used both of these?

I'd think the draper would feed much better but not flex as well.

Another farmer had a flex draper and told me not to buy one.

What's everyone elses story about them. I will only be using it in soybeans.

Thanks.

My buddy to the north of me (CORNKING over at the other sight) ran a 36' crary head 2 years ago and half way through this past harvest demoed a 36 (35?) foot draper on his 8010.

That draper never left! He will run 2 8010's next year, both pushing drapers, instead of 3 (2 2388's).

If you looking at a new flex head I would give a hard look to the Harvestmore head from Young's Custom Ag Service. We ran a 25' this year and they are a huge improvement over a 1020 and from what I've heard of the 2020's I think they would be an improvement over them too. From what I've seen I think the Harvestmore will cut with a 600 series Deere head and we were cutting later at night than our neighbor with a 635 could.
