If I recall correctly, the 7000 is the original version of what case and new holland are selling now. There were apparently some change ups on the first ones to increase durability.

Correct me if I am wrong but we're the 7000 slim basically the same as a 5000 flexicoil but only with slim fold, later renumbered as a 7500 they had gang packers instead of on row packing

I "think" most of the 7000 drills ended up back at Flexi-coil in S'toon and were tore down and scrapped out??
I do KNOW that the slim design with regular shank/opener (not a para-link/ independent opener) were a poor machine.
They had lots of trouble getting penetration and even placement.
Everyone I know of that had one switched to a bourgault 5710 or upgraded to a BG or seed twin drill.
I think the newest independent versions in Case-IH and NH paint have major improvements and work well.
I like the slim transport idea but have no personal experience using one.
