Flip over reel on Hart Carter?

If it is green and lodged then yes it is a must. If standing nice or it is ripe and being straight cut then not needed.
I was afraid of the canola wrapping on the reel. I had a old Hart Carter reel on a swather I cut oats with and it wrapped bad on it.
