Hi all.
Have had some issues with the flow meter on my 4940. I had some other problems and was told to unplug the two controller plugs on the right side under the cab while the machine was running. Since doing that I have lost flow meter readings. It still has voltage at the meter and it seems to be working properly. Is there any other fuses that may have been blown. I did check all fuses and they are good.
Any help will be grateful.

flow meter

Double check the calibration number is still set properly in the calibration page and is not reset to 0. If it is reset to 0 then it wont work display any flow.

who told you too unplug from the controller with power on it? I would think that would be a big no-no. does everything else function OK? can you spray on manual (pressure)? is it only the flow meter reading that is buggered? Try to get another controller (borrow) and swap out an see if this works? if it is the controller, don't forget you will lose all your calibrations.

and as the previous post suggests, make sure blade is spinning...
Ensure the pins are all good on the flow meter cable,

have to ask....is spray coming out nozzles..lol...no spray....no flowmeter reading

run through the diagnostics page, any errors-codes

There has been a number of 4830's around here that have done that. Mine will spray fine one tank then the next tank won't spray properly. Flow bounces all over the place, switch to manual and it works but will not work on automatic. Had the service tech out about 5 times and still not sure if anything is fixed. They are hesitant to change the flow meter for some reason. Guess we will see in the spring how it works.

It sprays perfect on manual and I have checked the flow meter and it spins freely. I get pressure readings. Checked the pins into the flow meter and the controller plugs all ok. No error codes. It won't run section control as it's not getting readings that product is flowing. I have run 2 tanks out on manual.

99% chance the Spray controller is FU-barred....I think unplugging it with power on ay have damaged it.

Standard system. Ended taking flow meter to another sprayer. Flow meter must have been shorted out when cables where unhooked. Dealer didn't even keep one in stock. Should be here today.
