I am looking to mount it, I would want one Hopper from an air cart.. I am looking g at one kind of going to see if I can measure the set up to mount on my implement Cady,

I have poor soil conditions in the spring, and looking to plant soybeans with a corn planter, 15 inch rows. But 3 bushel hoppers just destroy linkage arms. Not a fan, so trying to see what I can do.

I wonder how it would be to modify a valmar, take the meter out and make a distrabution box like great plains uses under there hoppers, I think it would be fairly simple and they are about a dime a dozen. Plumb the hoses about half way up in the hopper or where ever so you can keep a desired amount of weight on the opener, just an idea

Supprised no one has hopped on this thread yet, got to be someone doing what you want to

I'm looking for the same thing as you for my planter. The options I've come up with was to modify a pull behind cart with a venturi system (heard older flexi coil carts have purchased components to accomplish this). Another was find a old JD 60bu seed on demand cart (can't seem to find these anywhere, easiest option as well). Another was to modify and mount a jd refuge tank (also can't seem to find any, but haven't looked hard recently). Last option was to make a system from one of the old seed tender units that we haven't used in years. The red neck option would be mount an old drill box on the planter frame and have it gravity feed into the hoppers (same could be done with dry fert boxes as well I suppose).
