Hi I do a little custom work for my dad and im thinking of finding some more customers preferably fairly local. Just wondering how people get jobs. Do you advertise in the paper, craigslist, use flyers, go door to door selling your service? Im open to any ideas.

I started by talking to the guys at local dealerships , parts stores, etc. Word of mouth goes a LONG way in the custom harvest business

I just go visit neighbors. Be prepared to be told no, but persistance pays off when their usual harvesters are either late or do a poor job. You will be the first person they call.
