I have recently bought a used diesel Gleaner F2. It has the Header Drive Electric clutch switch and I am having a hard time getting the header to run. I've been throttling up a little from idle, engaging the separator clutch and then flipping the header drive switch to on. Nothing happens. Any ideas?

Also, I cannot get the Power fold control lever to move the unloader conveyor tube to the unloading position. Any ideas here?

Thanks for your help.

Our F2 had the same problem engaging the header. Grandpa decided to do away with it and put a pulley off of a 74' F where the electric clutch was, that caused the header to engage when the separator engaged. I would be careful engaging it when the engine is reved up. Two days ago the magnet on the separator clutch on our F3 shot craps, the center of busted out. Our dealer said that can be caused by engaging at high RPM's. Needless to say, it was a pricy fix.

I carry a spare clutch, they are notorious for taking a dump on you when you need them the most,

and on the controll lever, i would venture to say that you valve is not moving in and out and it is flexing the control rod so you may believe that it is but......i am betting it aint
use two people to confirm this. but no need to check your hyd fluid if everything else is working. there is only 1 system on that rig and the unloading auger is NOT seperated in any way, infact there is only 1 valve bank too....
