I bought a K 3 weeks ago, it seemed to work fine, I had it hauled this week the driver called me and said he was having trouble loading it because he couldn't get it out of gear to start it, got it home and when I step on the clutch it is not working, it is very soft, I checked all linkage and checked the clutch lever, all seems fine, did put 1 1/2 QT oil in trans because it was low, wondered if it being so cold if clutch plate is locked up, or what I should do. Thanks Chuck

If there is an inspection plate on the bottom of the bellhousing take it off and shine a light on the clutch release bearing. It may have come apart and is no longer depressing the clutch fingers enough to release the clutch. Had this happen on a "G" Gleaner.
