??? i have a gleaner k that works pretty good, my problem is it will not take all the corn of the cob. the cob is white cob which is a pain,corn is 25% moisture but the cob is like rubber. the cylinder is at 13/16" and cylinder speed is about half. i been reading what i could find on this site and i took the filler plates out but it didn,t help much, any ideas would been much help

How many concave bars do you have in? If I remember correctly you can put in a max of 6. Also what style concave bars do you have? There are u channel and half round. We have a F3, run u channel bars at position 1,3,5. Position 1 is on the door, add 1, then 3, then 5, then 2, then 4, and last is 6. The book says that you will almost never run all 6 except in real hard to thresh crops. You can make your own bars out of 1" channel iron from the local steel shop. It is slightly wider but that doesn't matter, heck of a lot cheaper than AGCO. I would check to see how good your bars are, replace if they are wore. Add 1 at a time until you get it to shell for you. Good luck!
