Hello everyone , I have been a member for a bit , so I thought I would put up my first post ! My gleaners are a bit old but still doing a good job ! I have a 1971 gleaner K with a 10 foot grain head , and I picked up a 1977 gleaner K2 corn soybean special this past summer with a 10 foot grain header for next to nothing . I also have a 12 foot flex head for beans , 238 corn head (mint) and just picked up today a 335 corn head that's going to need a bit of work .I do have a question , I ran the K2 with 238 corn head to do my corn (only 10 acres) I had the cylinder set @ 1/2" , I was getting a lot of fines and breaking the cobs , should I open it up to 3/4" - 1" ?
