Anyone know whether new skid rails (top and bottom) for the feeder house raddle are available anywhere.

Assuming there are none out there, I'm going to try and fabricate them. Everything else is going to be new in my feederhouse. These being wear parts I think they might as well be too.

2 Questions- Does any one know whether they would be made out of mild steel or hardened somewhat?

Current ones I have (the top ones (about 1.5" wide)) have grooves in them where the chain links run. I'm assuming these are worn areas and new ones should be flat (no grooves).

Anyone have any thoughts.
