Bought 2 grain air tubes last fall and installed them on new 6000 bushel bins on steel flat floors. Put HOT dry barley in one and filled two 3300 bushel bins. In spring smaller bins had spoiled grain and was crusted on top. Large bin was in perfect condition. Has anyone had any luck with these tubes reducing moisture in bin? Bought 2 more tubes this year.

We have a few in 5000 bushel and 6000 bushel bins. Typically store canola in them. I really
Like them. Great for storing high temperature grain as it cools it down fast. Not sure if it actually drys the grain any, haven't seen that, but it definitely cools it off.

Very god cooling. Small amount moisture reduction I would say.

Most important is to keep the lids open or have vents. Or else any moisture that comes out just condenses on the roof and drips onto the grain. Bugs really like that environment!
