I was referring to Meskie's comment on the 14" being stupid fast....having seen the neighbors 12" and it is very fast. But check Meridians web page they list their TL12 conventional auger at 8000~10000bu/hr capacity. 133~165 bu/min. That does 1800 bu in 10 3/4 ~ 13 1/2 min. So you would just have to be quick at moving the truck and it could be done. lol

Exactly Don, anything beyond perfect ground conditions with those steer tires used to power the auger around even if it was only used under hoppers or unload systems on a flat bottom, it wouldn't take one long before a farmer would be cursing it. One would think that its possible to create a system that could also power the main auger tires much like the wheatheart system with the engage/disengage leaver setup. That way chains can be used on the main tires, don't know what I would do without chains on my auger during the winter.

The edge 12” was timed at about 180-200bu/minute from guys that used them.
