farmrboy,
There's a HUGE difference between a REM and a Walinga. A REM uses a fan to create vacuum and the Walinga uses a Positive Displacement Pump to create vacuum AND pressure. The Positive Displacement Pump creates much more vacuum over greater suction distances. Yes; a fan creates a lot of suction, BUT as soon as you get into sucking from 60' away the Walinga will out perform the REM "hands-down", and who are we kidding? Who uses a grain vac with less than 12' or 16' of hose on it??? Now, with respect to which machine is gentler. The REM discharges the grain through an auger. The Walinga does not...you do the math... oh and if you need too; you could hook up a whole bunch of piping and 'blow' product from point A to point B if you needed to. Lets see a REM do that!!!
