I have a R75 with 8000 series 20 foot grain head. I now the head is way to small but my dad has no help to move during the day. He is running 5 mph concave set at .28 rotor speed at 625 rpm. Still getting 1 inch pieces of green stem in sample. Thanks for help
We have had the same along south field edge tree lines and such where beans came up later because the ground didn't warm up.
We tried more air and tightening down the shoe to get them out and was convinced we were loosing crop.
We had new bars, concave in great shape and shredding the **** out of them.
We finally gave up on those 100' wide strips and came back a few weeks later and finished them up. Convinced those small greens are to heavy for ours and couldn't float them out.
We were running a 52 with 20' at about 4.3, pretty close comparison considering your feeder house is a bit wider..
