Lance Allen has seemed to have just vanished, period!

His e-mail and phone numbers don't work. He never did give either Alex or I the PM's with his personal contact info as he had originally told us he would, back when we talked to him in chat.

I hope all is well with him, but it does make me wonder as to whether or not he even kept his business. He's sure not replying over on Marvin's site, either.

Hey!!! You're still with us after all! NASA had no reports of any alien abductions of custom harvesters and I did not think you ended up in the "Bermuda Triangle" of the Great Plains--LOL! Just kidding!

Anyway, yes, I am glad to see that all is well and that you are en route to west central Kansas. I'll bet you end up pretty close to where I also once lived, myself.

Hey, I really do want to visit with you some more about this idea you have for rebuilding the combines as soon as harvest is over.

I do have contact info for Allen Harvesting. Unfortuantely I backed out of a prior commitment with them when I originally changed my mind, but at the last minute was drawn back to harvest and found a crew that would take me. Lance is good person from what I knew of him.

I agree, Alex. I've heard NOTHING negative about him, but honestly did seriously wonder just what may have happened when he more or less just dropped out of sight. My real concern of course, is simply just the financial stability of one's business. Custom harvesting just doesn't have the wide margin it once had.

Thacker has CX, not CR and I believe Thacker has 5 not 6. Unless he added one this year, I'll have to ask Harvest Support. Collins from SD has 3 or 4 CR's now. Floyd's out of Canada has at least one CR, saw them go through Ogallala NE a day or two ago. A couple singles running around also.

Borrowed my forman's wireless laptop, still cutting poor wheat, harvest is moving fast, be home by mid July at this rate.

Not really, but the idea of an alien abduction did at least enter my mind, hehe.
Seriously, I was really concerned as to what had happened, thinking maybe all the bad wheat in the southern plains had driven you to find a different means of making a living.

Sometime when you have the time to send a PM, let me know just how serious you are about this remanufacturing of A-F's.
