I don't think he will be doing it too hard. I never have any sympathy for bookies when they have a loss. Coming from a farmer who has had his fair share of ups and downs. Guess what we are doing is punting anyhow, just on the weather, commodity prices, machinery reliability etc etc. Just a bunch of gamblers playing for pretty high stakes.
Only something minor, but when your favourite footy team has a win against the odds it does give you a good feeling.
