Hello, are there options for header adapters to put an 863 corn head on our '99 8780, dealer said there was but now having trouble locating one.
If not,might have to go to 3000 series?

The 863 we have is from our 8570, and would fit the first year 8780's with the red feeder house, the '99 8780 has the newer style black feeder house.

Schmidt Machine This would be a good place to try. I am sure they could head you in the right direction.

Try Harvs Farm Supply, they are the Bish Adaptor distributor. Brad Bish works there and he will know if it can be done.

Don't waste your time with that corn head!! Had one on an 8570 once and it was the biggest joke there ever was find a good 3000 series head instead!! You will thank me for saving you the money!!

I agree. Used 863 and 883 for few years. They were terrible wasting corn...too many ears bouncing out. Shelling was also bad because of the many sharp metal edges for ears to be pulled down on. Go with the 3000.
