i know a guy up the road who has fitted a honeybee front to their gleaner.. prior to the gleaner it came off a NH.
apparently he didnt buy a new adaptor, but just bolted RHS under the existing mount to suit the 72.. removed a couple of Fingers and made a plate of tin to fill in the holes either side.. not sure what he done at the bottom to secure it.

i am looking for a wider front... so just wondering...
what adaptors people have converted/changed to suit gleaner -
say i want a honeybee or midwest front etc - Other than Gleaner, is there another adaptor to suit a combine that would be easy to change to gleaner.. i undertand there are sprokets, gearing etc that may or may not need changing depending on the head.
Buying a whole new adaptor is rather expensive!
any thoughts - thanks
finding a few second hand heads that would be perfect - choice of adaptors etc, but none to suit gleaner

Different type of header adaptors... but does anyone one know of an adaptor to take an older hugger head to the lateral tilt throat. without taking the cutting torch to it.
