Hung a new 12 row gerringhoff on 7010. Head has headsight height sensors. Calibrated the controller box on the head, but the combine keeps saying to calibrate header ground height sensors (error A0122 I think). The headsight box doesn't have any errors. Calibrated feeder house sensor on the combine. Anyone know what I missed?

Did you do the ground cal? Where you hold the header lower button down until the head is all the way on the ground and then continue to hold the button for another couple seconds. Then you hold the header raise button until the head is all the way up and continue to hold it for another couple seconds. If its done correctly the head will pause part way up and then continue all the way to the top. Just make sure to hold the button down the whole time on the way down, and then the whole time on the way up... hold it through the pause even.

I am having trouble with my headsight system on my 7010 as well. But for some reason it seems the combine isn't sending any power out to the sensors. The power wire from the headsight kit sends power to the controller but there is no power at any of the sensors. Does power to the sensors come from the controller or from the combine? I told it in my header set up page on the pro 600 that it has lateral tilt. Did I miss something? Mine won't do the above ground cal that I explained. The book from headsight says to do the header height cal in the cal screen but I don't have that. I have the feederhouse cal and lateral tilt cal... but nothing that says header height cal like the instructions say.

Had a same problem. The headsight wiring harness had some of the pins to the sensors inserted in the wrong locations once we figured that out it works perfect after performing the ground cal. The header ground cal instructions are in the Combine manual.

What wires were wrong in the harness? I was trying to decipher the wiring diagram and check some things but I still can't seem to figure it out. Only messed with it briefly today just got home from Hilton Head SC last night.

I have power to the headsight control box on the head but nothing to the sensors. Do I need to remove the plug on the box that has the allen screw in it and check all the pins in there? I took it off quick but my tester probes were to big to fit in the little holes and I didn't have any small gauge wire handy and I didn't know if they power came across in the plug or had to go through the box and then out to the sensors.
