We have a 2006 9660 STS. We have had issues with the feed accelerator light/buzzer coming on. There is nothing wrong with the feed accelerator. The issue is when you slow the rpm's up with the header engaged, all the lights go on and the buzzer sounds like it should. But when you then speed the machine up just the feed accelerator light stays on with the buzzer on. And it stays on, and it stays on. You can shut the machine down and restart everything back up, but that one light and buzzer stay on. Ok.... so no one likes to cut wheat with this buzzer going off!!! That will drive a guy nuts after 30 min. I have replaced the sensor which is on the left hand side of the machine. No luck. I have tried to adjust the sensor so it is the right distance from the shaft. No luck. We have had the electronic board with all the lights and buzzer replaced. No luck and a lot of money out of our pocket. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

you running feed accelertor on low or hi speed? had issue before when running feed accel on low speed and still had wheat selected as crop type on top cornerpost screen. had to change screen to peas to stop buzzer going off.

It's thinks your shaft is going to slow. Put it in high speed and it will probably go off. Not sure how but it has to be told you want it running that speed probably crop setting some how.

Ok.. We are set up for wheat and so it is on the high speed. Changing the magnet might be a good idea. Went to JD this morning and got another new sensor. They wanted me to check the dip switches on the electronic board to see if they were set right. I did and one of them was not set according to instructions. So.... Will see what happens.
