Holy! Old school BTOs! Are those beacons or GPS above the grain tanks? :D:D

Haven't a clue what models those be though but that sure looks cool.

Are those beacons or GPS above the grain tanks? :D:D Not quite, air intake for carbs.

Do you have any idea how many acres they would have farmed with those units? Not sure at all but around 2 sections.

I agree with combine type

I think they must have been the K2 model with the 9 foot head. The engine in them were the same as the VAC case tractor, 4 cylinder gas.

My curiosity is about the horizontal unload augers. The K2's I was around had a more angled upward auger.

I remember my uncle haveing a 120 pull type and that auger you could hardly get under, had to stop, engage the unload auger and then go lift up the unload auger shield in the hopper.

Probably no unloading on the go ,if they backed in it would throw it a ways ,even to drive up close it would work.
Our IHC 122 didn't have an auger ,just a chute .Minnies of the same vintage had a chute .
It appears these guys had a very progressive operation and a nice crop.
