Had a seeder.malfunction and only put down 1.5 lbs of granular innoculant with the red lentils.😪😪

Will this be a major issue? Is there anything that can be sprayed on after the plant is up?

Any insight is appreciated.

Has the field had lentils in the past 5 years?

Any other legume on the ground in the past 5 years? If yes then there may be enough bacteria still in your soil to tide you over. I don't know of anyway to get more innoculant down after the crop is up. The important thing is that it got some innoculant. However it may be slow nodulating.
